I haven't participated for years, as was said, probably since about the time production BEVs hit the scene. But I cut my teeth here begining around 2000-ish, and spend hours every day for perhaps a decade soaking up all the DIY knowledge from those who got their hands dirty doing the work on their passion projects.
Websites and forums for the various OEMs do seem to have come into their own, and don't cross pollinate much as was said. But I'm so impressed that the EVDL has survived. And as a data nerd and archivist think it's invaluable that it continue on into the future. I've on occasion dug into archives to look up some old gems. So thanks for everything being done to help this community persist. I wish I had the bandwidth to be more active and contribute, maybe one day I'll do so with a project. I love you all and can't thank you enough for sharing your wisdom and knowledge and giving me such an amazing foundation about the guts of this technology we all enjoy.
