Please not Discord. While it is a great communication tool (and I moderate some very large discord communities), it is very much a sink for discoverability and archiving. Unlike forums (that persist), anything posted in a discord is hard to discover later at best, and utterly ephemeral at worst.
E-mail lists like this are more permanent, and with a proper archive become a searchable reference that can be referred back to, so there's little need to re-post the same information over and over.
