I use the exact same definition of life that MILLIONS of people on this
planet once used: the word "Life" refers to some organic matter filled with
elan vital. And the most important part is that it contains that elan
vital! Calling anything else "Life" is a betrayal of the language. I do NOT
use the vague definitions of life embraced by some members of this list and
a few professional biologists who are more interested in words than ideas.
