Of course we've already destroyed the REAL environment, most of it 1000s of
years ago, mainly as a result of inventing agriculture (and fire). My
concern for the environment is to do with the survival of the human race,
although it would be nice to keep the pandas, elephants, sharks and nasty
little creepycrawly things, I happen to think humans are the best thing to
have happened to the Earth since the pre-Cambrian explosion, and if it's us
or the dolphins all I can say is so long, and thanks for all the triple
somersaults while whistling the star-spangled banner.

Although I have to admit I'm biased.
