I think "knowledge is power" refers to things like being able to make
better weapons. A lot of people on the receiving end of various invasions
would agree that the reason they lost was the enemy's superior technology.

I'm not sure why I keep saying this sort of thing, me being a peace loving
person. Well, except that it's true.
