Yes. Long term memory I can accept, at least after watching "Memento", but
without short term you'd be stuck in an eternal present. Mind you, a
capsule theory of memory (or a "Fred Hoyle's pigeon holes" theory) would
say that each observer moment contains its own set of memories. But then
that leads to problems with what an OM actually is.
