Nonsense. The bad boy may make a lot of money or he may drink himself to death, but either way he's not going to protect his female conquests or his offspring. That's why he's a bad boy. But because he has lots of women, he's attractive to women. Women have evolved to be attracted to guys that can get lots of women pregnant - that's sexual selection in action. Peahens mate with peacocks that have beautiful tails because that means their sons will have beautiful tails and attract peahens. The good boy will make money and take care of his wife and children - so that tends to balance the attraction of the bad boy and why both types are successful in the evolution game.
