The universe can't spread anything outside of the universe because its
not in a environment, it is the environment, so what collapsed its
wave function, how are cosmologists supposed to to think about the
universe from a Copenhagen point of view?
Dunno. That's why they usually work with a path-integral formalism. It
may be that spacetime is different from other quantum fields and
something like Penrose's idea of collapse due to uncertainty in the
metric will work.
And why did the effects of a electron going through slot X spread to
the environment, collapse the wave function and become real but a
electron going through slot Y did not? Copenhagen has no answer to
that but the MWI does, everything that can happen does happen.

OK but that part sounds very much like the MWI
.
It was so intended.
