Here is a nice paper-PDF from Hartle on the consistent histories approach to give sense of the relative probabilities on a quantum mechanical history. This is sometimes call the post Everett approach, initiated by Griffith (1984), Omnes, (1988) and discovered also independently by Gell-Man and Hartle (1990).
