The Wheeler-Feynman absorber theory which postulated the equality of advanced and retarded waves in every electromagnetic interaction was shown to be non viable many years ago. Even Wheeler and Feynman abandoned the project. Cramer's retrocausality account of quantum mechanics has been falsified by the non-observation of the requisite advanced waves.
