One can dream of such stuff. First vaccine goal is to stop the severe complications of the disease. What that paper hints at would already be second generation stuff; i.e. stopping the thing at mucosa level which is kind of its own environment, a degree removed from the bloodstream and thus the target of intramuscular administration of vaccines.
