Thank you Patrick, it's been a long day.  I copied the above exactly, it
was all on one line on the C.L:

grasshop...@linux-wakm:~> find ~/.evolution | egrep ".ev-summary
\|.ibex.index" | xargs rm -f

grasshop...@linux-wakm:~> 

When Evolution started up, all the OpenSuSe trash was gone, but have now
returned: Error storing '~/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox/OpenSuSe (mbox)':
Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync.
