        Actually, that's a very good idea.  Opening a message window twice with
the same email should just raise the first message window to the top. 
You should file a bug about this at:

http://bugzilla.ximian.com/

and maybe someone will add that.

        Actually, this has been made clearer in the new version of Evolution. 
But cut and paste works already -- just using the UNIX style of cut and
paste, not the Windows style.  To "copy" some text, simply select it. 
That'll add it to the clipboard.  To paste, simply click the middle
mouse button.  If you don't have a middle mouse button, click the left
and the right mouse buttons at the same time.

        View -> Hide Deleted Messages
        Your deleted messages show up in the trash now already.
