Feel free to help out then.  Pasting in 1.2 is much better than in 1.0.x
it will probably be better in 1.4.  We are definitely working on it.  I
doubt you are aware of the difficulties relating to c&p (especially
w.r.t. bonobo) and the specifics of the code so commenting on how easy
or difficult is is to fix is probably not appropriate.  If I'm wrong and
you are familiar please help, we're all busy and the kind opinion that
means the most is backed up by code.
