Responsibilities

-          Analyze and document of business systems or processes by
describing relevant factors including work flow processes, data input and
output activities, descriptions of data elements, and overall program goals,
objectives, and external considerations

-          Write deliverables for implementing a multi-year Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA) software development project. Experience should include
the design, development, and testing.

-          Gather and organize preliminary analysis of information about
costs/benefits, advantages/disadvantages, and technical feasibility of
designing and implementing transaction based systems.

-          Work on multi-disciplinary teams, translating business/program
subject matter information into requirements for technical specification and
translating technical information for business/program consumption to ensure
consistency and common understanding across the stakeholder groups.

-          Create process flow and architecture diagram using tools such as
MS Visio for support of written deliverables and assistance in establishing
common understanding across the project

 

Skills Needed

.         84 months experience working as a primary or lead business
analyst.

.         84 months experience with analysis and documentation of business
processes by describing relevant factors including work flow processes, data
input and output activities, descriptions of data elements, and overall
program goals, objectives, and external considerations, such as federal and
state mandates.

.         84 months experience with eliciting, validating, documenting, and
business-approved functional and non-functional business requirements for
use by the technology team. 

.         84 months experience with developing, obtaining approval, and
managing a business and technology approved test plan.

.         48 months experience with process flow and architecture diagram
development using tools such as MS Visio for support of written deliverables
and assistance in establishing common understanding among all project team
members and key stakeholders. 

.         48 months experience translating and documenting technical
information for business/program consumption to ensure consistency and
common understanding across the stakeholder groups.

.         60 months leading or facilitating requirements sessions with
business/program subject matter experts.

.         36 months experience with costs/benefits and feasibility analyses.
