Try disabling any AV software running either on the Exch Server or client. Did this start out of the blue?

These messages can be Shift-Deleted without any problem and they can be deleted in OWA. If the user "Forwards" that same problematic message to himself/herself, then the newly fowarded message does NOT exhibit the same problem as the original message - it is deletable and movable. Well, I've been able to get away with telling the users to just use shift-delete till now. now, a C-level user is having the same problem and want to know "WHY", as in a documentation or explanation from an authoritative source. My interpretation of this is just to see that the problem is "not on our side". Does anyone know where such documentation or explanation can be found. I know I can call PSS, but I thought I'd ask the Gurus in the field first.
