Had exchange 5.5 running on NT4 in an NT4 domain. I installed a new NT4 BDC on new hardware Upgraded that to 2003, made it a DC, configured DNS (set up forwarding, etc) Changed Exchange 5.5 Server DNS to point to new 2003 AD Domain Controller All worked fine. After much googling, I'm can't find much about moving a Exchange 5.5 server to an AD domain without a Exchange 2000/2003 migration involved. I feel by us doing this we are going to be creating double the amount of work for ourselves just to get rid of an NT4.0 domain before we are allowed to migrate to E2K. Anybody have any ideas on what problems we might encounter and/or make for ourselves and the level of effort involved?
