That doesn't work either as both report "The path does not exist or is not a
directory" and therefore you can't access the "Directory Security" tab to
adjust its SSL settings.

Try changing virtual directories to point to \\.\backoffice instead of M:.

Sorry, I had a M: during initial testing, but don't have one now that it is
FE only. The virtual directories are still pointing to M:domain.name/mbx
though.

Still trying to get this working just wanted to update the info.

Subject: Front End Server Problems

We are trying to set up a Front End Server but keep getting 403 forbidden
errors from the Front End. We can access the Back end directly via OWA with
no problems.

The server was operating fine in test mode as a Back end server for the test
mailbox on it, but would not redirect users to the other back end server in
tests.

I have been following the MS White Paper and the 24/7 book and have removed
the IS and checked "This is a Front End Server", but the M: drive doesn't
connect to the system correctly and I can't access the "Directory Security"
tab in IIS Admin to enable SSL. I have an M: but can't access it.

Any Ideas?
