Umm, it relay's that's about all I can tell you. It was here before I was.
There are no antispam capabilities, I know that much. I just took a look at
the reverse dns blacklisting and found that spamhaus.org was already in the
list, however I do not believe it is working because we receive a lot of
spam. The response field was empty so it could be that it was not
configured correctly. I am setting it up now to use the combined spamhaus
list (SBL+XBL) to see if that helps.

Debian GNU/Linux, Exim v4 w/ Exiscan-ACL, SpamAssassin, and ClamAV.

I'm very happy with my gateway SMTP server. It took me a few iterations to
get it completely tweaked out the way I wanted it, but I've got a very
stable and fast setup, that SMTP rejects high-scoring spams and any virus
e-mails. E-mails that fall below the rejection threshold are tagged and
delivered, where end-user rules usually deliver them to a junk mail folder.

I would think you'll need some type of gateway system, as most antispam
products on the market for Exchange don't integrate directly with Exchange
5.5.

I've heard good things about the Barracuda Networks Spam Firewall. Two or
three schools in the area here use it, and are very happy with it.
Relatively low cost, but with an annual fee for maintenance and updates. I
believe it's based on SpamAssassin.

Exchange 5.5
Windows NT 4 sp 6

I have [finally] been given the go-ahead to implement an AntiSpam solution.
We have researched the Corvigo Appliance and Brightmail Antispam in the
past. Corvigo was way out of our budget, and my boss was not happy our test
install of Brightmail, so we are back to the drawing board.

I have seen posts to this list about the IhateSpamServer and SpamAssasin. I
would like to know what is actually being used out there and how
happy/unhappy people are with it. It is much more helpful than reading
advertisements that all promise the world.

So if you wouldn't mind givng a shout out for your AntiSpam software, I
would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
