Is this a new installation of AD? Has someone already tried to install Exchange 2000 or 2003 in this AD in the past? Or maybe someone has already fooled around with the ADC?

I have two domain controllers and one exchange server. When I right click a user in AD and hit exchange tasks the only option open for me is "Remove Exchange Attributes" Does that mean the user is already added to exchange? When I open MS Outlook on the second DC (without Exchange) and try to check the name of the user it tells me the exchange server is unavailable. I ran netdiag, dcdiag and passed all tests. I also did forestprep and domainprep. When I go to exchange system manager and hit the notifications and status and click on the status folder it gives me an "unexpected error occurred ID no. 8000ffff" and my organization name looks like this 33D56-FF5567-GGHF-445566 because during setup it never asked me for the organization name.
