I know that this seems a real dumb question but is it possible to downgrade Exchange
2003 to Exchange 2000 ?

This is the scenario.
We have customer that has had an Exchange migration done from Exchange 5.5 to
Exchange 2003. As they only have licenses for Exchange 2000 they were only suppose to
have been migrated to Exchange 2000. This was done due to to a mix up in communication.
As a result the customer has either got to fork out several 1000 GBP for 2003 lcenses
or, as requested by the customer, downgrade to Exchange 2000.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or possible solutions.
