We had a similar issue. Bad NIC. There were tons of CRC errors occurring during the backup. It was virtually unnoticeable during normal operation but as soon as the NIC started getting a load on, it would stumble. If you have Compaq Servers, you can open that little NIC icon on the desktop and look at the statistics for the NIC.

All of a sudden (a month or so ago) the backup for Exchange started running at 5MB per minute. Backups on other remote servers are fast. Its almost like the remote agent isn't working, but I know it has to be since it allows me to backup Exchange. Its slow backing up anything on that server. I removed and reinstalled agent with no luck. Has anyone seen this before? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
