No other software is on the exchange server. I guess my next step is to check the nic and switch... Thanks fellas.

Look in your switch logs for excessive errors on the Exchange server's port. Also, I've seen McCrappy pattern updates cause this. Usually it's solved by forcing a SuperDAT install on the machine. All of a sudden (a month or so ago) the backup for Exchange started running at 5MB per minute. Backups on other remote servers are fast. Its almost like the remote agent isn't working, but I know it has to be since it allows me to backup Exchange. Its slow backing up anything on that server. I removed and reinstalled agent with no luck.
