Acosta.com does not have an A record, so there is no IP address for it.
Try pinging their mailservers, mail.acosta.com, mail3.acosta.com and
mail4.acosta.com

It should resolve to 205.152.67.48, 67.97.186.3 and 216.83.183.231
respectively.

I was able to telnet to all three and they respond as email servers.

So yes, I think it is DNS resolution at your end. Set your SMTP on that
server up to use outside DNS from your ISP perhaps, and try that. I have
always had better luck doing it that way.
