Hi

If you more than 1GB of physical ram have you performed the steps outlined in
MS Article ID:

815372 "How to optimize memory usage in Exchange Server 2003"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;815372

Like Ed said Exchange will use as much memory as it can, but you will find
that you can improve memory usage if you follow the steps outlined in the
above article.

Are there other applications on the server or just Exchange? What version
of Exchange are you running, and what version (Enterprise or Standard) and
revision of the operating system?

You didn't buy all that RAM to have it go unused did you?

Exchange uses almost all available RAM to cache content to improve
performance. It dynamically releases memory if other tasks require it.
Don't worry about it.

Subject: MEM USAGE

Hi all,

I'm curious as to why my Exchange server box starts increasing the memory
usage, It's gone up to 1.5 gigs ,then when I stop and re-start the STORE
service, It goes back to normal about (1.1 gigs) is there anyway to do
anything about that?
Or Should I just schedule stop and restart of the STORE service daily?
