Whether it works for you or not is not really all that relevant IMO. The fact it isn't supported makes it something I wouldn't recommend to anyone.... Well actually, I don't really give a rats ass where someone stores their PST file as that data should be something they don't care if they lose anyway. So when it became corrupted, I'd just delete the file and tell them to start over.
