I always thought that you could reconnect to any non-mail-enabled account.

At least, that is my experience under Exchange 2003. Not sure if it checks against the account name or the exchange alias. So can I associate it with another AD account that doesn't have a mailbox, Restore from tape to a PST file, create a new account and mailbox and import PST file into it? We're running EX2K.
