I am trying to connect mobile devices such as cell phones running Pocket PC to my Exchange server. I encountered problems that I could resolve by following this KB -
Exchange ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access errors occur when SSL or forms-based authentication is required for Exchange Server 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=817379 This specifically says mobiles devices cannot connect to Exchange back end servers that require SSL or have forms based authentication. So my question is, can mobile devices connect using SSL or forms based authentication to front end exchange servers or ISA published exchange servers?
