The best way to securely connect mobile devices is via an Exchange 2003
FE server and ISA 2004.

Exchange 2003, mobile devices, and SSL are meant to work together,
however in general people use the full topology of FE/BE servers. If
you've got a really small environment then this may not make sense, and
you can use the other work around.
