I'm going to be upgrading from Exchange 5.5 to 2003. I have two questions.

1) I had heard that you shouldn't allow people to use the 5.5 server while
moving mailboxes to the E2K3 server because the move taxes the server and
having people on it generates an unnecessary load. After thinking about it,
I'm wondering what happens if someone is using their mailbox while you are
trying to move it. It seems like it would be kind of hard to move it while
it is being modified. Is this a problem? If so, is there a way I can lock
people out while I do the move?

2) Along the same line, should the ADC be running during the move? It seems
like the move might confuse the ADC because it could try to synchronize
things that are changing.

Thanks for your help.
