I remember at my old place we used Exchange 2000 and we setup contacts that would have the primary SMTP address setup as an external email address and then a secondary as an email address that was inside our organization.
When you sent emails to the contact it would route the email to the external primary SMTP address. For example if I have a contact called "Neil Test" and its primary email address is "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and then a secondary email address as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" if it received emails from the outside world destined for "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" it would reroute them to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". I've tried setting it up this way in our Exchange 2003 organisation but it doesn't appear to be working, I am sure we have done it before in my previous company and it worked fine, we don't want to have to setup mail enabled users for every email user we want to route elsewhere.
