I just want to make sure that I have the right procedure for patching a exchange server 2000 running in a 2000 server environment with xp clients.
1. make sure that all xp clients are running the Windows xp update for DST KB 928388 and KB 929120 2. Download and run the Tzedit program from Microsoft (KB article ID 914387), I check the server by changing the date to 1.59.50 a.m. on march 11, 2007 waited 10 seconds, the clock changed to 3.00 a.m. 3. Run the calendar update tool on all the outlook clients, thus changing the appointments to flex the new Time. 4. Also run Msextmz.exe and than run Msextmzcfg.exe to change all the mail boxes. Also I told everybody to print there calendars for the next couple of months to make sure the changes were updated. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
