After trying all the stuff, I think so too. Scanpst.exe doesn't help,
importing to a new PST (either 2003 or 2007) doesn't help, the 'enable
large table support' option doesn't seem to be available. So, I'm not
gonna lose sleep...

Thanks,

David

Subject: Old PST files needing help

Crossposted, looking for a solution...

I need some advice about some old PST archive files we have (made under
E2K3). They're archival files, around a gig or so in size, but that's
not a problem. But I've discovered that we had run up against the
16,383 item limit to a PST. So I can search these old files with
various search tools, but I only get maybe half or a third of the
messages that are in the file, the remainder (beyond 16,383) just
disappear out of the index.

With the new features available in OL2K7 and the new PST file
architecture, is there anything I can do to get the 'lost' data out of
these old files?

Thanks,

David
