There's also the issue that at least some email clients will show every
email you send as having an attachment, making it difficult to quickly
scan them and find the ones with real attachments. VCF files are
irritating in that way too.

You don't still use a 300-baud acoustic modem? I need to find a cell
phone
adapter for mine.

Also think of all those dialup people you might be dealing with. They
will
have to download 29K just to get a one word e-mail that say's hi.

That would be quite nice- however the logo is 28k how much will that
affect
bandwidth- ( for our field offices it may be a valid argument- as some
are
low speed dial up )

One way is to re-write the signature code so that it is referring to the
jpg
from a common web server that can be accessed from inside and outside
instead of including it in the message.

I know that can be a battle but one way to win the argument is to point
out
that the way it is NOW is impacting bandwidth usage as it is included in
each and every message which takes up space.

Hi all,

Some "genius" decided that our email signatures should have this html
logo
in
it- I do not use HTML nor do I read in HTML- so now every time I open an
email from a staff member it has logo_signature.jpg attached to it- can
I
somehow get rid of it?
