They get a 554 from your server, their server delivers the NDR. They fix
it or you whitelist them. No worry about losing them as a customer, they
already can't email most other places reverse DNS is a very common
check.

And whitelisting is part of the process, if you are going to blacklist.
If they won't comply you whitelist them.
