We've spent the last 6 months moving to a pair of Ironport clusters for our edge MX, spam and filtering. Couldn't be happier. They do the job as advertised, and better than any other solution I've seen. Not sure what your connection volume is - just be sure to get a larger (like a C350) if your volume warrants it.

It's also supposed to do 90% of the spam checking in memory so it won't be writing much to disk. We are currently using GFI mail essentials/mail security and we absolutely hate it, bad performance, bad anti-spam engine, horrible support.
