We just moved from MailEssentails to IronMail ourselves (we got an S series). We are very happy with it so far. It is doing its job very well, as opposed to our former solution. It does help keep the bandwidth down as it rejects outright connection attempts from hosts that are known to be spamming. The false positive rate is pretty low, and very little actual spam is getting through to the mailboxes.

Anyone out there used it before, anyone like it, hate it? So far it looks pretty good. It's a 1U server and it's supposed to handle up to 1 million emails per hour. It's also supposed to do 90% of the spam checking in memory so it won't be writing much to disk. We are currently using GFI mail essentials/mail security and we absolutely hate it, bad performance, bad anti-spam engine, horrible support. We are looking for an ISP grade anti-spam solution as with a two letter domain we get hit pretty hard. Thanks In Advance.
