We just installed it with our version 12 of Backup Exec for Windows. Yes, you
do one backup of the database, there is no brick level backup option any
more. Then when you want to do a restore, you open the database, drill down
to the box you want and you can even drill down to the message level you want
to restore.
I believe there is an Active Directory module that does the same thing for
you in the AD domain (restore one object instead of the entire AD database).
We have tested it here on a simple mail and folder restore, seems to work
just fine.
