I have a 2 node DAG with all roles except EDGE & UM installed and published over ISA 2006. EDGE role is installed on a server in DMZ which is E2K7. Do I really need to run the StartDAGServerMaintenance.ps1? My understanding is, StartDAGServerMaintenance.ps1 is needed to run only if I require zero downtime. Please correct me if I am wrong. I don't mind 2-3 hours of down time for upgrading. Moreover, it is a 2 node DAG and since there is no CAS redundancy the DB will not be available during the upgrade. So does it really matter to run the DAG maintenance script? Is there any specific order or procedure that I should take care in the above 2 node scenario? Any hidden issues or gotcha that I need to take care while upgrading?
