I seem to recall troubleshooting something similar and found at the time (on 2k7) that ECP requires Autodiscover to be working properly. ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Exchange] DB is mandatory on usermailbox / autodiscover fail Date: Tue, 2 Sep 2014 17:50:57 -0400 The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer is attempting to test Autodiscover for [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. The system mailbox and discoverysearchmailbox store a number of configuration settings (and don't ask me to remember them, I don't), but if you delete them you may potentially change certain Exchange configurations. Locate: * "DiscoverySearchMailbox {D919BA05-46A6-415f-80AD-7E09334BB852}" * "System mailbox" * Delete them 2- Run Setup.com /prepareAD, then, System mailboxes will be created 3- SP2 installation will be finish succesfully ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Exchange] DB is mandatory on usermailbox / autodiscover fail Date: Tue, 2 Sep 2014 17:10:23 -0400 successful with warnings I saw another article that stated to re-run PrepareAd http://p2v-to-cloud.blogspot.com/2012/08/error-database-is-mandatory-on.html any thoughts? ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [Exchange] DB is mandatory on usermailbox / autodiscover fail Date: Tue, 2 Sep 2014 21:03:17 +0000 It always scares me when people say that.
