Apparently not. I made the registry change suggested in the KB article and
it started working as I was hoping it would. I'm not sure if it was the
registry change or the fact that it sat all night between when I made the
permissions change and I tested it this morning.
I kick myself because I saw that reference in the FAQ and the first time I
read it interpreted it as applying only to NT changes, not to permissions
changes within Exchange. (Actually I tried to kick myself, but lost my
balance and fell down - but that's what happens when you get older:)
