Given that it is the customer's decision, why would you want to do a defrag
at all, Derrick? All the defrag would do is shrink your priv.edb from 21 to
19 gig. Assuming that the box is used only for Exchange, at some point in
the future it will just grow in size again. Exchange does on-line
defragmentation every night, so everything is as efficient as it is going to
get right now. The white space you currently have will just serve to give
you some buffer room for message traffic increases without having to grow
the database size.
