Three minor reasons for sticking with the PAB.

1. While Contacts now supports PDLs, they have a fairly low size limit (I don't
remember what it is though). PAB PDLs can be bigger.

2. Display names from Contacts have that irritating (E-mail) tacked on, to distinguish
them from other things, like faxes, that can be sent from Outlook.

3. Slightly better address resolving in PAB. Addresses are only resolved against the
first words in the First and Last name fields in Contacts, but they're resolved
against any words in the name fields in the PAB. This makes it much easier to use
addresses with display names like "John and Jane Smith".

One other unmentioned reason for using Contacts, synching with BlackBerrys or Palms.

in addition, the only thing I could thing of that a PAB would be good for is
for creating Personal Distribution lists, provided you are using OL98 or
older. If you are using OL2k or newer, then I can't think of a good reason
to use a PAB since the newer versions of OL support PDLs. YMMV
