I guess that the messages appear when overnight maintenance runs. If you're not having problems, and there's only this one message appearing, then you could possibly leave it alone. On the other hand, if you're running the enterprise version of e2k, why not create a new mailbox store, move the users across, then whack the old store?
As Russell said in the other post, PSS is Microsoft's Product Support Services. You can buy a one-off support incident with them if you're concerned about this.
