Jim, what you're asking for itself will require a significant amount of
time to develop. You should be pursuing this with someone who is being
paid for the effort or can have a reasonable expectation of being
considered for future business, i.e., getting a contract to do the work.

Mike,

Thanks for that input. Those are things I forgot.

1. Let's assume redundancy.

2. ~1,500 to 2,000 users

3. Give me cost estimates for brand-new vs. migration.

4. It will include a transition at a later date (for example 10/01/02)
to E2K.

Jim

Even know I am not the Exchange Guru here - look at it from a pure
networking standpoint.

Do you have to have redundancy?
How many users does it need to support?
Are you migrating over, or creating a brand new network?

The list goes on... those questions you asked, are totally impossible to
answer until there are many more questions answered beforehand.

Theoretically, you could accomplish what you asked in a
single evening. I've done it millions of times. But the
time extent depends on many, many things.

My Two Cents.

Mike

Folks,

Let's ask a couple of questions, based on the premise of "Money isn't an
option":

1. What's the absolute fastest amount of time that it would take to
plan an AD/E2K structure? 2. How long would it take to implement an
AD/E2K structure? 3. What kind of hardware do we need to have in place
before we do this? 4. How many personnel will it take? 5. Roughly what
can we expect the cost to be?
