Ed, That in itself is exactly what I'm trying to get a handle on. My immediate management has tasked me with finding this out.
Based on what it's roughly going to cost, how much additional hardware we have to acquire and how long it's going to take, we would offer this as a contract, in order to get it done quickly. You should be pursuing this with someone who is being paid for the effort or can have a reasonable expectation of being considered for future business, i.e., getting a contract to do the work. Those are things I forgot. 1. Let's assume redundancy. 2. ~1,500 to 2,000 users 3. Give me cost estimates for brand-new vs. migration. 4. It will include a transition at a later date (for example 10/01/02) to E2K. Do you have to have redundancy? How many users does it need to support? Are you migrating over, or creating a brand new network? The list goes on... those questions you asked, are totally impossible to answer until there are many more questions answered beforehand. Theoretically, you could accomplish what you asked in a single evening. I've done it millions of times. But the time extent depends on many, many things. My Two Cents. What's the absolute fastest amount of time that it would take to plan an AD/E2K structure? 2. How long would it take to implement an AD/E2K structure? 3. What kind of hardware do we need to have in place before we do this? 4. How many personnel will it take? 5. Roughly what can we expect the cost to be? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
