I see,
I am guessing that the rules on the server end are stored in the priv.edb.
On the client end do you know the name of the file that the client side
rules use?
Also are there any 3rd party utilities available that may enable him to add
more rules? Or can he somehow tell the server side rules to reside on the
client side instead of server side?

Thanks Martin.

32k worth of server side rules....You cant change that either.
He may be able to consolidate some rules to make them smaller

Subject: Exchange 5.5 rules

Does anybody know what the limitations are to the amount of rules one can
have for a mailbox. I have a user that gets an error message when creating a
rule. After disabling another rule, the new rule will work. It appears to me
that there is a limitation to the amount of rules one mailbox can have. Am I
correct? If so what is the limit? Thanks All.

Ed
