Do you have any links with instructions for doing this...since you have already done it yourself?

At least that is what I did in the same situation. You don't let your web host anywhere near it (possibly, unless they are significantly more knowledgable than you about Windows and IIS and security). You don't put anything else on it and you harden it to the nth degree by following all the whitepapers and so on and watching closely for issues relating to any of the products.
