I get those when my remote users are trying to synchronize but are not on machines that are part of the domain. On their side, the credentials logon screen appears. My solution was to make each remote machine part of the domain by (unfortunately) bringing in each box and introducing it manually. I'd like a better solution than that if anyone has one.

I feel this question is going to be pretty basic, but I'm going to ask it anyway. On my W2k Exchange 2k server I get a message in the security log that looks like this The logon to account: EXMAIL$ by: MICROSOFT_AUTHENTICATION_PACKAGE_V1_0 from workstation: EXMAIL failed. The error code was: 3221225572 It is under Event 681 and the code is "misspelled or bad password." The thing I don't get is that the workstation name is not on my network it is from the outside. Any ideas? -- Vincent Avallone iBiquity Digital (410) 872-1535 _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
