I am currently in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 via move mailbox method. So far E2K hasn�t been installed and I am preparing AD only. As part of this process I installed the ADC and I have a question:
When I created the CA from Ex5.5 to AD (One-Way), I noticed the distribution list got created as a universal distribution group. Is this normal? I DO NOT have a native-mode Domain and I will not be able to establish one. How will it impact the permissions on the Public Folders? Even though all documents say that I need to have a Native-Mode Domain to map my Exchange distribution list to Universal Group but that isn�t possible. What are my other options?
